The travel charger uses the current international advanced intelligent charging control special integrated circuit BQ2004E, which can quickly charge nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride and lithium-ion batteries. When charging Ni-Cd Ni-MH batteries, the charging process includes four stages: pre-charging, fast charging, complementary charging and trickle charging. The fast charging termination method used by the travel charger is: temperature change rate (△T/t△ ) Detection method, high voltage Vmax detection method, high temperature Tmax detection method and long charging time tmax control method to ensure safe battery charging. In order to eliminate the memory effect of nickel-cadmium batteries, a discharge process can also be added before charging. When charging lithium-ion batteries quickly, the constant current to constant voltage charging method is adopted. In the constant voltage charging state, the output voltage of the travel charger has a very high voltage regulation accuracy (within 1%), which can effectively prevent the lithium-ion battery from overcharging.


  The power adapter adopts an off-line switching power supply composed of TOP smart switching devices. The circuit of this power supply is particularly simple, the reliability is also high, and the AC input voltage range is very wide (85~265V), which can be applied to any country and region.


   Travel charger can be used for: mobile phones, cordless phones, language pagers, notebook computers, walkie-talkies, cameras, portable electronic instruments and other electronic devices.

  (1) Three kinds of batteries (nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride, and lithium ion) can be quickly charged.


  (2) The travel charger adopts a four-stage charge control method (pre-charge, fast charge, top-up charge, and trickle charge) to ensure that the battery is fully charged.


  (3) The rapid charge termination method using temperature change rate △T/t△, negative voltage increment -△V, high voltage Vmax, high temperature Tmax and long charging time Tmax can effectively avoid battery overcharging.


  (4) The travel charger has multiple protection functions: over-temperature and under-temperature protection, over-voltage protection, short-circuit and open-circuit protection, etc., to ensure safe battery charging.


  (5) The use of high-frequency pulse charging can effectively eliminate the memory effect of nickel-cadmium batteries; usually, nickel-cadmium batteries do not need to be discharged before charging.
